20th Congress of European Society for the Hand Surgery (FESS) was held
20th Congress of European Society for the Hand Surgery (FESS) was held from 17th to 20th of June in Milano, Italy. There were over 1000 plastic surgeons, orthopedists and physiatrists as participants. Six hundred and fifty-eight oral presentations and one hundred and eighty- nine poster presentations were presented at the Congress. Assist. Prof.Drazan Eric,MD,PhD as the only participant from the former Yugoslavia, presented his work ”Reconstruction of the fingers soft tissue defects with second and third dorsal metacarpal artery perforator flaps”.

Within the University hospital in Foca, new hemodialysis center started to work, which is completely equipped with new equipment for hemodialysis.
Mr sc. med Marijana Kovacevic said that there are 18 patients who currently undergo chronic dialysis treatments. The patients are from Foca, Rudo, Rogatica, Visegrad, Cajnice.
